The Emperor’s New Clothes.

Years and years ago there was an emperor who loved to buy clothes. One day two

swindlers said to the emperor “We can make the finest cloth in the world “. So the

emperor gave them some money to make some cloth. They got out some looms

but kept the money to themselves, they pretended to make cloth . The emperor

sent one of his servants to see the cloth .He lied and said it looked good . The

emperor sent the governor to see the cloth and he also lied to him . So the

emperor went himself and he also couldn’t see the cloth . The next morning he put

on nothing and paraded in the park, and everyone said he was wearing nothing .

But the emperor kept on walking .
